Hey all,

What is your opinion about robo-advisors that make investment decisions without human intervention? I’m conducting a research on financial investments and I’m especially interested in automated investing. And since you are investment experts, I thought you would be the best people to ask. It would be great if you could also take the time to answer my questions (anonymously), I promise it will take no more than 8 minutes. Please follow the link bellow.

Is There Any Retirement Planning Software that Can Handle In
posted by: johntimber @ Thu Apr 26, 2018 7:10 am

I really don't know many of the retirement planning tools that are out there, but it seems like the few I've come across, none of them have the ability to include indexed annuities in a retirement plan. Pretty much all of them can include a systematic withdrawal percentage from a stock/bond portfolio. Many others can include variable annuities either with or without an income rider. But are there any that incorporate IAs either for income (using a GLWB), or for accumulation as another asset class to stock and bonds?

New Licensure As a Retirement Advisor

I was recently told that the DOL now requires you to get a series 65(min) to be able to advise any retirement planning. You cant sell 403b ( fixed annuity) without one. Anyone care to elaborate?

Card suggestion for those with only fair credit
posted by: johntimber @ Thu Apr 26, 2018 7:08 am

I'm sure there is a thread on this already, but can anyone suggest a few credit cards which will approve people with fair credit? My score is on the upswing, but having student loans does not help. I religiously fly with Delta, but I cannot get approval for their Amex cards. For now, I have resolved myself to missing out on all the Delta miles and MQMs, but I would like to earn points/miles with some card, any card! Any suggestions out there?
