Gotta disagree. If your good at sales you could be a high school drop out.
If your willing to drive over the road that is what my peers who got their MA did.
Well some of them. Some went into medical billing but that provides no value and is a leach job.
The thing is people with good jobs keep them so it can be harder to get a good job then a get through the month job.
You gotta just keep plugging away. Have you gotten a sub teaching licence?
Many teachers will be retiring but not sure if demographics will support more teachers.
I let my sub licence lapse when the district went from 12 subs to 50 but I do miss it.

It's easier to look for the job you are comfortable near you living. and developing skill with it till you become mastered at it. Then the decent one will come automatically.

Unfortunately, the economy is tough on most of us. I graduated 8 years old and still struggling for a decent job and decent life. I don't have a solution for you but an advice: don't lose hope.

when I was fresh grad I took any decent job possible, I don't have high standard since I just graduated, then after getting some experiences, I can use that as my negotiation power for higher salary

You should try thinking to earn some extra money online in parallel to your search for job.. in this way you'll be able to manage your expances to some extent and you will not get frustrated soon.. Best of Luck

Have you unexpectedly come into money? |
|
|
Hello!
We are currently casting for a television documentary series, where we are looking to feature individuals who have experienced an unexpected life changing event, specifically looking to feature someone who has had a windfall, or recently unexpectedly come into money, whether it be from inheritance, winning money, etc.
If you, or someone you know, fits this criteria, we would love to hear their story! Please send us an email with your name, photo, phone number, and a brief description of your story at unexpectedlifetv at gmail. Thank you!

can't find a decent job |
|
|
They are all correct. Even historically, one really needed a PHD to do anything with a psychology degree. Sadly, currently and in the recent past, to the most part, there are no decent jobs across all professions. That is why the majority of us are taking a stab at internet marketing. Unfortunately, that is even difficult, if not impossible, for most. Even when one attempts to follow all the do’s and dont’s, everyone is calling everything a scam/spam, even if the affiliate is working hard not to scam/spam. I am beginning to surmise that the vendors wanting affiliate marketers to sell their products are in reality wanting the affiliates to buy their products themselves. In addition, most things are set up to advertise to the individuals social networks. This is as non-productive as attempting to sell glasses to a blind person.
Good Luck NakedAlbino. I am WISHING for your future success.

Every generation says it's tough economy and hard to find a job. When I graduated from college in 95 with a Liberal Arts degree', I couldn't find a job and worked 2 jobs, one as a personal trainer and the other as a photographer. I coudln't make it on my own, so I moved back home for 6 months until I saved up money to move out again.
I went back to school in 1998 and got a much better degree in Computer Network Administration and got hired right out of college. But in 2001 the Tech bust happened and all of these tech companies went bust and I got laid off. I lived off Unemployment for 4 months until I found another good job and then got laid off due to budget cuts. Since 2004 I've had a very steady job in the IT field.
Make sure you choose a career that is hirable, like science, math, computers, engineering, healthcare, accounting and not ballet, liberal arts, mass communications or other majors where the job opportunities are scarce.
Risk comes from not knowing what you're doing. (Warren Buffet)
