I recently won a truck at a raffle in Maryland state and they are offering me 17,500 in cash or I could take the truck valued at 23,500. I don't really need the truck so I was going to try and sell it but would it be better to take the cash?

Since you plan to sell it, I'd just take the cash and save the hassle. Why bother with finding a cash buyer with more than $17K? I know a guy who won a $17K Harley Davidson in an airport raffle. He sold it for about $13K, but it took him about six months. To my knowledge, he never drove it.
