American Airlines (AAL) When Oil was between $100-$60 a barrel AAL posted a profit of almost 3 billion and is the largest US Domestic airline after the acquisition of US Airways. Now oil is at $43 and falling. I have them at BUY.
Exelon Energy (EXC) Exelon owns and operates power generation stations in the Nuclear, Gas, Hydro, Wind, OIl, Coal, and Landfill areas. 54% of the power EXC generates comes from the Nuclear division and when Germany and other European nations decided to close all nuclear generation stations this sent Uranium price into a down trend and is still falling, creating lower cost for EXC. I also have EXC at BUY
LHC Group, INC (LHCG) In the last 3 days LHCG had 2.4 million dollars worth of shares sold in insider trading alone. Not a good sign and for that reason alone I'm at SELL
Eldorado Gold Corporation (EGO) Has a really nice Debt/Asset Ratio and when gold surges again could be a great buy but for now I am HOLD

Everybody understands different things when you say stock trading. As far as Jim Simmons (and quant strategies) are concerned, the most important mathematical ideas are time series modeling, statistics, machine learning etc. Yes, portfolio construction is pretty important, too.
If I have to pinpoint one idea that's most useful, it's good old regression.

-LHCG I don't know enough about to give an opinion.
-EGO will probably go down, because everyone else expects it to go up

I don't know much about it really... I like some binary options trading instead. I trade with the broker from http://xbinop.com/review/24-option/ and I manage to make some nice additional income. It is cool that I don't have to make much effort for it. I like this money making method a lot

Nah, it’s too risky unless you can afford to take the risk. I usually keep myself to Forex trading. It’s not too dissimilar but still is easier to do because of less requirement in terms of investment and even with higher potential of profits.

Not too keen over it. I feel such ideas are too expensive and it’s not worthy for majority. I like to keep it relatively simpler and that’s where I go with Forex trading. It’s awesome through broker like OctaFX who are awesome by all measurements and arguments due to been regulated by FCA and also have incredible set of conditions counting small spreads from 0.1 pips to high leverage up to 1.500, zero balance protection, swap free account and much more to help with things.
