Can too much SEO be a cause of over optimization?
Hello Guys,
I read somewhere that if we do too much SEO, then it can be a cause over-optimization and rank can be down. Now I wanna know from all of you, is that true? And how can we avoid over optimization.
Please suggest me.

I think that if you do good SEO then you shouldn't worry about anything but if you're spamming all over the internet with your links then your website will rank lower. Try to post good content and get good backlinks.

Trying to use your target keywirds too often can be seen by Google as spam and will harm your ranking. You need to build your keywords into well written text. Don't repeat them more than about 3-5% wiithin the toal number of words

You can over optimalize
Yes, you can over optimalize your page(s). Best to just make good content with a lot of internal and external linking. Keywords are useful to put in your title and documents, but overdoing it will make you look spammy and ruin your sites reputation.

With too much are you referring to keyword stuffing then yes this can negatively impact your website seo because you are writing for bots and not for the readers.

It was very interesting for me to read your thoughts here, guys! I am creating my website using some templates for website builder from http://www.templatemonster.com/moto-cms-3-templates.php, and I will need to optimise it then. I guess, this thread will help me a lot

I've hired dude from this social media marketing campaign to consult and write copy for a number of my online business over the past few years and I am very impressed with him quality of work, professionalism and creativity. I would highly recommend this company for consulting work involving marketing and creative writing.

You can certainly over optimise on-page but keep building links to your site from other websites. you can't have too many backlinks
