Give 30k to the wrong person and they will turn around so quick you wont remember what they look like.
Just kidding but really you have to be careful, just saying you have 30k to drop might attract some flies.
I would put that money into websites. Develop or buy a couple existing sites or invest in a company or start up your own.
The question is what do YOU want to do with 30k.
There are infinite ways to make money online, the problems is bouncing between them and never getting anything done. Just pick 1-3 things and go with it.

In my opinion trying to turn money around for considerable gain in 6 months is essentially gambling. Two years on the other hand is starting to reach the very lower limits of what stocks/mutual funds may be able to produce but this would be risky if you needed the money for something
