In what age did you teach them? And how hard was that?

Yes, both my daughters like to read, the elder one is 13 yo and younger one is 8 yo. I think that everything depends in parents in this case, for example we didn't have any problems with teaching them Smile Parents' example is very important in this case, both I and my husband like to read and seeing us with books created a great motivation in them. We always read them aloud, discussed characters and plot from various books and played different games together. For example, playing in library was one of their favourites, also also letter crafts and special card games. Some virtual educational games were helpful too like Sesame Street, Zebrainy ABCs Numberlys, Duck's Alphabet and so on. In my opinion it's only exception for using gadgets from small age. Also our daughters adored drawing letters, rhyming words, singing and learning poems. Considering all that I really don't understand thos parents who complain about absence of inspiration for reading in their children.
But I need to agree that there are some children who just have specific type of character and aren't interested in reading at all despite all energy which put their parents in teaching. For example, son of our friends was always interested in math, gadgets and logic games much more than in reading and I think it's ok because children are different like we, adults.

I agree. Kids like playing, so you can use this. For example I play with my daughter in interesting educational game related to reading. It is Fairy Tales for Clever Kids, this game turns reading into entertaining process supporting comprehensive development of the child. I recommend to show it to your child.

Hello, world!

Mine love to spend time outside much more. And that's kinda problem for me because I care about them too much maybe and I am really nervous when I don't know where they are. So now I think that I'll start using this spy app - http://cellphonetrackapp.net/category/oppo/.

I can recommend anything that requires thinking, analyzing, and decision-making, and also requires manual dexterity. Wooden toys can be the best choice, as they are made from natural, organic components and materials, which means they are absolutely safe for your child. Playing with eco-friendly wooden toy for example from Ecotoki.com will develop the necessary skills for the child. As for me it is great variant!
