"calm but focused & alert" effect |

is there anything out there to take that has a "calm but focused and alert" effect? Too often on my adderall and vyvanse I feel physically overstimulated but mentally lethargic and unclear, however L-theanine doesn't seem to work and even a small dose of my klonopin makes me drowsy but calm . I've been on my medications for 14 years and developed a high tolerance for both.

That's difficult. A lot of the aspects of focus and alertness are attributed to sympathetic nervous system activity, which does the opposite of provide calmness, it literally exists to prepare you for activity. You might be able to get some relief from the mental leathargy though through some nootropics https://nootropicboost.com/buy-best-nootropics/aniracetam/
Otherwise, something very much overlooked in the US is that medication is not the only recognised treatment for ADHD (I assume this is your diagnosis given your medications). In France the condition is rarely diagnosed because the symptoms are treated with good efficacy using a family therapy approach in children, and so they don't progress into adulthood continuing to use medications. This does demonstrate that therapy is a viable alternative to medication for the disorder. It's not an instant relief thing like medication, but the effects of therapy are not dependent on continued administration (once you learn the skills you have them for life). Something to consider anyway if the medications are causing symptoms that are no longer tolerable for you.

I wouldn't recommend anyone to take any meds blindly, please don't seek for advices online. Talking about depression and stress in general, I overcame the symptoms thanks to vaping. First I started with cbd oil, later switched to naked salt .
