I formed a company in Delaware this year using the service of The Company Corporation. If I understand correctly, the service fee that I paid to The Company Corporation included the Delaware franchise tax (for the year 2006?). However, 2006 Delaware LLC Franchise Tax is due June 1, 2007.
Does this mean that I do not have to pay the franchise tax for the year 2006 in 2006 in theory?
Does this mean that I already paid the franchise tax for the year 2006? (Right?)
So ... when do I pay the franchise tax for the year 2007?
Its due date is June 1, 2008???
