Forum rules are clearly posted, those those post the usual rediculous spam dreck will have those posts removed.
Also, even legit offers must be posted in the designated locations or they are just spam.

by seeing what other have posted, this forum does not seem serious at all. Also, if you look close enough there is spam everywhere

I'd like to know about any legit offers that were removed and where they were posted.
If you see specific infractions against the forum rules that you'd like to report, that would be great, or if you have any suggestions regarding our forum rules we'd like to hear...

Seriously this forum is very gental about spamage.
Stuff gets moved to Spamar Slammar.
One forum got piffy when I mentioned the idea of a spamar slamar.
I got banned today on a forum. Can't even see if my stuff got moved to their Hall of Spam unless I go to the libary.
May have had a couple of rambles but I wasn't spaming. All my post were in general chat, lotteries, or the fruit spins (not what they called it). If I wasn't banned I could go and check to see what they call it.
One of my post was the "Did you hear about the dog that wone the lotto? He gave his owner a bone" That is not spam. That is funny:)
Perhpas they couldn't handel the 1-877 in my profile? Spamage? Well I guess I did get banned.
Here is a joke that pertains to following rules.
A Lawyer runs a stop sign and gets pulled over by a Sheriffs Deputy. He thinks that he is smarter than the Deputy because he is sure that he has a better education. He decides to prove this to himself and have some fun at the deputy's expense...........
Deputy says, "License and registration, please."
Lawyer says, "What for?"
Deputy says, "You didn't come to a complete stop at the stop sign."
Lawyer says, "I slowed down, and no one was coming."
Deputy says, "You still didn't come to a complete stop. License and registration, please."
Lawyer says, "What's the difference?"
Deputy says, "The difference is, you have to come to a complete stop, that's the law. License and registration, please!"
Lawyer says, "If you can show me the legal difference between slow down and stop, I'll give you my license and registration and you give me the ticket, if not you let me go and no ticket."
Deputy says, "Exit your vehicle, sir."
At this point, the Deputy takes out his nightstick and starts beating the ever-loving crap out of the Lawyer and says:
"DO YOU WANT ME TO STOP OR JUST SLOW DOWN?"

Is this forum havily moderated? I'm partial to these types of boards b/c you can avoid getting spammed.

We have several moderators and we delete, move and edit spam on a daily basis. We also find that we get people everyday who want to post their braindead promotion umpteen times, so they are are banned immediately. What a waste of time, but it keeps the forum much much cleaner...

Yes...and I want to delete everything that resembles "get-rich-quick"...but I just delete the ones that break the rules.
Spammers get their e-mail address on a crapload of spam lists. I also like the idea of DDoS attacks on spammers' IP address. The occasional AUP report to the spammer's ISP is warranted also. Hey! I wonder if I should add Trojan Horses to my toolkit...hrrmmmm....
This is the closest to "moderation is the key" as I can get.
