Has Anyone Ever Heard of UD RISE? |
|
|
A friend emailed me the other day with a link to the RISE Symposium. The event seemed pretty cool as their are numerous financial speakers I had heard of. I was wondering if anyone else has heard anything about or attended RISE as I am thinking about attending. Thanks.

UD RISE is connected to University of Dayton - Davis School of Business. I am sure there is a cost involved, since it is a University. I am a graduate of Fairleigh Dickinson University in New Jersey with an MBA in Accounting. It is always a worthwhile venture to attend a seminar or workshop to increase your knowledge of money matters. I graduated FDU in 1981 and I still am learning something new every day. Good luck on your educational experience.

The University of Dayton sponsors the RISE Symposium each year in conjunction with the NYSE, Nasdaq, CNBC and Wall Street Journal. UD's School of Business puts in a lot of money to bring in quite an array of influential speakers. The event started in '99 and had a turnout of about 500, however, in 2006 there are well over 1,500 registered attendees from every state and 199 colleges.
Had a chance to go with a team from GE Corporate last year and it is a pretty impressive event.
