Yeah, pretty much like eveyrone has said, its easy to get indexed if your link is out there. I freqent a dozen or so forums, my addies are in my signature on all of them. One of them... ( http://www.bautforum.com/index.php ) gets tons of traffic, plus I know it gets spidered regularly as they run adsense... therefore my link is getting seent ons there, as I post several times a day to various topics. *nods*

another good way to get your site indexed by google is to get a link from a high pr sites since those sites are frequently visited by bots..
much better if googlebot pickups your site than submitting it thru the addurl form..
or you can also try visiting several forums and asked for a review of your site and then add a live link so that your site can be visible by search engine bots..

I submitted my site to Google about 10 days ago and got my adsense a/c 4 days ago and there are 5 high ranked sites link to my website. I also noticed that Googlebot has visited my site. But until now my website has not been indexed.
May be Google has rejected my website.

Press Releases are an excellent way to get your site indexed by Google quickly.
Writing a good press release will get your website indexed by the major search engines in days.
It also will automatically provide you with hundreds of high-quality back links to your site, which will increase your page rank and positioning in Google bringing you free traffic.
Regards,
Daniel

why not pay 300 get into yahoo,
that will filter back into google .. with the added bonus you got into yahoo.
for high ranking links .. write a press release .. send it out to all the free press submit thingys on the web .. there you will have some more high ranking links ..
and all it cost you was 300 bucks ..
oh yeah that 300 bucks you pay doesnt mean you actually get listed. then submit to dmoz and go on a vacation, 6 months later check your PR and smile ..
Get into google, surely just having your URL listed in google is totally useless .. it has to come up when you lookup your keyword .. and looking up the name of your site doesnt count either, since its unlikely anyone else will do that .. except ofcourse if you got a catchy name ..
my two cents worth ..

Never ever submit your site to Google using that addurl page.
I've heard it takes about 6-8 weeks to be "considered" to get indexed.
PR links is the best. Not only will you get indexed, you get good SEO too.
