Our definition of the term, specifically what sort of posts we consider spam on our forums, has generally come to be understood as:
One or more substantially meaningless posts/threads:
One or more posts or threads of identical content:
Solicitations or advertisements.
We appreciate your assistance in keeping the spam to a minimum, to prevent things from deteriorating into a mass of useless posts that degrade the quality of the boards.
DO NOT create nonsense posts or threads with absolutely no redeeming value, such as 'What color underwear do you wear'? This includes posts obviously intended for post count, such as 'okay' or 'me too'.
DO NOT try to 'rule' a forum, such as users posting in every single thread or starting new threads just to see their name on every single thread in a forum.
DO NOT chat. Threads in which the thread is one long conversation, on no specific topic, will be deleted.
Spam will be deleted, or put into the "spam" board. This also means if you have posted in a thread that turns spam-happy, the entire thread may be deleted, including non-spam posts. Please do not send us private messages or post questions regarding the deletion of spam threads/posts.

I will mention that we actually do love to hear about offers and opportunities from our members, as long the rules are being followed and they are posted just once, like MM said, and in the right forum.
Even chatting can be okay, we do have the Green Room forum for jabbering about anything you want, and as much as you like.
