Yes, I do. It's very hard to get any traction in the beginning and you must really want to do it for the long-haul. Expect it to take 3-6 months before you see any real results. Find a product/service you believe in and create a plan and plow forward knowing you probably wont profit a dime for some time.

SEO primarily, I usually outsource the backlinking and I also build my web presence by contributing to forums like this

SEO is the way to go. The 3 basics can really pay off: Backlinks, Keywords, and Content (that you update on a regular basis).

To be totally sure that an online job you shall find is legitimate, do not go for those who are asking for up-front fees. Best that you get the ones in an online job portal like Odesk, Elance... those are legit.

Agreed. If an opportunity or a job is legit, they have no reason to charge you.

it is easy to start your online business, but not always easy to push it to the certain level when it brings profit.

Great advice and words to live by online. Writing new content and updating existing content can really help with SEO.

I work and work online, I run several SEO operations to help other companies rank for local targeted keywords which is time consuming and very profitable. Also I have several pages driving traffic to affiliate deals with Commission Junction, its all in the traffic.
