Blog is a good platform to make online income. Besides Adsense, you can use affiliate marketing, paid reviews, direct advertising and related opportunities to increase the income.
The important thing is, all of these opportunities are 'traffic' based income options. If you don't have visitors, you don't have a chance to make money through your blog.

There are so many sources for earning money in the world, some of them are too good and some of them are bad. Forex trading is also a good option for earning huge money. If a person trade smartly then he can make huge money in the forex market.

There are also actual work from home jobs like Alpine Access. You have a set schedule and make an hourly rate.

Your blog is a good idea, just don't give up promoting it. That should be your main goal right now. Patience and work ethic will eventually pay off. You can also create a facebook page and sell ad space there.

if you have enough traffic you can apply for a clickbank or a amazon advertising program. they work pretty much good with blogs
