| Is NOW the TIME to BUY Real Estate Investment? |

The interest rates are very low and the real estate prices are very favorable. I know we haven't hit the bottom of the market but nobody will know the bottom until it significantly starts going up and by that time it's too late.
What are you thoughts?

Yes I agree. Now is the best time ever to buy a house. Interest rates are the lowest ever and housing is so affordable. Now the key to that last statement is that you should be debt free and have 20% to put down and you shouldn't buy if you cannot do that.

The "best time" can only be viewed historically. Some predict that house sales will fall even further. However, they're quite good, regardless. If you have been frugal and have saved for a down payment (what the other poster said) then it's most likely a good time to buy. But there are also other factors to consider, such as the (moderate) security of your job and if you plan to live in the house for at least five years.

What I mean is now the best time to buy property? I keep hearing that now is the time to buy. great deals/steals. Sellers pay closing costs. Is this true what do you guys think or know?

I too think its the best time to buy if you are having the capital with you....Anyway the market will be raising

Yeah , It is prime time to invest in the real estate as due to record foreclosures the prices are down especially the residential real estate property. Mortgage rates are also up and there no other way to get for the home owners to sell their house which about to be foreclosed.

Now is a good time to buy real estate. However, REITs and such can either be quite profitable or you can lose a lot. I'd only recommend someone investing who has studiously done his homework to read about that market.

Yes i agree, the best time to buy may be just now. The business with the purchase of repossessed houses is also going up and bringing good profit also.
