I was wondering if I could get some advice as to how much my pennies are worth, they are in a clear plastic case,in the middle is a two layer piece of white cardboardish material. It has the label Capital C-12A and Captial C-12 for the other. The Capital Patent is 2998126.Thanks.

It's at least worth 3 cents! Do you know what Capital C-12A means?

I don't know how reliable this site is, but here's one that gives the worth of several coins.

Wait, I think I found what your capital patent is, simply a patent for the holder of the penny. http://www.freepatentsonline.com/2998126.html

Have a look at the Blue Book of U.S. Coin Values. It the widely accepted wholesale price guide for U.S. Coins. The Blue Book price is generally the amount you can expect a coin dealer to pay you for your coins.
