Well the only income I had for last year was disability so I'm only getting a SSA-1099 for last year, do I need to file for taxes?

Technically, legally, you only NEED to file a tax return when you OWE taxes, or when you've paid in more than you owe and you want a REFUND.

Yeah, I've used TurboTax for the past several years but when I finished it this year I had errors about 0 values on certain lines of my return, also the amount I owed or was refunded is 0.

If you just want to be on record as having file, why not just send in a paper 1040 EZ --- there will be zero tax on Social Security since you have no other income.
