Forum posting is a best way to build quality backlinks fast. It is more effective if you follow the forum rules. In forum posting you can post more then one link in a single post.

Forum posting can be a great way to get more traffic to your site, if it is done the right way. Another good thing about forum posting is that it gives you the opportunity to explain to the readers what your website is all about and why it is worth the click.Make sure to pick the right board and the right thread before posting your message. When you join a forum, you can make posts in that forum.

I get most of my traffic from online forums and writing comments on other blogs or website with my link. I have been receiving traffic from facebook for about 2 weeks now and hope it keep coming. I don;t know whats up with twitter. I can't get no followers or traffic from there.

I am officially a forum addict and can personally attest that it does take a lot of your time. I am against automated forum submissions so I prefer to waste time for the sake of added value.
Of all the things I am doing such as Q&A sites like Yahoo Answers, LinkedIn promotion, social media promotion, forums have been most profitable IF you are posting meaningful content. I also find certain forums to be highly informative and educational.
So find high PR sites and post away, if you have some interesting things to share, that is.

Well, I wouldn't call forums posting as the "best" way to drive traffic. I mean it could help a lot if you are very active in doing forum post and you establish yourself well as a guru in your niche. There are a lot of great ways to drive traffic to your website aside from forum posting. Like social networking, micro-blogging, articles, etc. They would also bring quality traffic as long as you provide quality content.

* Increase the traffic
* Increase the ranking
* Increase the Page rank
* Build quality backlinks
* You can post more then one links in a single post of Forum website
* You can discuss your problems with experts of particular fields.

It is a good way to drive traffic, but of course not the best one. I approach forums for sharing and gaining knowledge than getting traffic.

I also with other members. Forum posting is the best way to getting back links for your website. I have my personal experience that forum posting help my website to get sufficient ranking in the search engine like google.

I know a guy who did actually nothing except forum posting to get his sites rank high. He used pretty low-frequency KW, thus.
