Be careful with "discount plans." Usually there is an application fee and they are very limited in benefits.

Good work... Just would like to add my point of view. There are 2 types of family health insurance.

1) Family Floater: the insurance that covers you immediate family ( your wife, your children and you)
2) Family First: the insurance that insures 13 relationships of your family (your parents, spouse, children, mother-in-law, father-in-law and many more).

Anyways looking forward to such pointers.

Aside from discount plans, I've read that there are also health plans that provide a huge list of medical providers but when you're about to use it, you'll find out that you're not eligible for discounts. People should be wary about this dirty tactics. You may have purchased your plan in a much cheaper price but you can't really benefit from it.

There are four categories of health insurance costs that a patient or insured pays:

1. The premium which is the cost to purchase the health insurance;
2. The deductible which must be met before the insurance pays any portion of a claim;
3. Applicable copays for things like doctor office visits and prescription drug purchases; and
4. Coinsurance which is a percentage share after the deductible has been met.

Family floater makes sense for a family because each one in family gets a big cover.

Which Insurance is Best  Reply with quote

Hi,

There are two general types of life insurance; Term life and Permanent life. Term life is the simplest form of life insurance and can provide substantial coverage with affordable premiums

Hi,

This can include a basic physical exam, urine specimen, blood work, EKG, and X-ray. For high amounts of life insurance, such as $2,500,000 and up, treadmill EKGs are usually required, too. There is no cost to you for the exam, and an appointment may be scheduled at your convenience in your home or office.
