So we decided to visit our family in Hawaii for Christmas and we will be staying a whole month. In return we are not buying gifts, tree or doing any decorations. The kids are mad. Are we in the wrong for this?

Well thank you for your answer, and we recently moved and got rid of all decorations because I wanted a fresh start. Hmm have to figure out something.

Come on... Its like you cancelled Christmas. You can cut the Hawaii trip a little shorter and give your kids a small, yet sweet Christmas. These kinds of memories are very important for kids and should not be missed.

i think Hawaii is a nice visiting place to celebrate Christmas.why are u not celebrate Christmas in Hawaii with children?
