creating website  Reply with quote

I would like to create a website mostly based on selling advertisement space for others and rewards for viewing ad's. This is my first site so im not sure who to go to for hosting. I know of adsense but am i able to run more ad & affiliate programs aswell and what ones should i choose? Also how would i go about viewing how many times each viewer has clicked on a advertisement, would i have to ask them to create a account with me of some sort?

I would check out some hosting forums (do a search).

You are allowed to run other ads in addition to Adsense as long as they don't look or act like Adsense. You can track the clicks in Reports page of your account with them.

Thanks for the info, but does adsense allow me to see each visitors amount of clicks because thats what i really need rather then a overview of all the visitors over a given day. Any idea's on what other ad's to run along with adsense? I've seen websites that usually act as homepages with features section with the usual "Auto, News, Careers....." sections and when you enter each it looks like they are affiliates of other sites because you would have say "List Used Vehicles" menu or a "find a dealer" menu that work on the site but link you to another when you click. Is that somthing i could set up because it seems pretty nice that you dont have to do updates its just info on your website thats linked to theirs.

While of course AdSense will provide you with statistics about impressions and clicks, there is no way for you to track your member's clicks. I hope you aren't proposing to pay your members for clicking on ads, as that is against the AdSense terms of service to say the least.

Right, I would be careful encouraging your viewers to click on adsense ads as they are very picky at google.

publisher cannot tell anyone to click on the google adsense.

In affiliate programs www.cj.com is best and www.amazon.com also can be used.

Don't even come close to suggesting or encouraging your visitors
to click on your Google ads.

And never click on them yourself, you wil get caught. And once
Google bans you its next to impossible to get back in.
