Suggestions on Finance-related books |

Hi all, I'm fairly new to the money making scene and I'm looking to gain as much knowledge as I can in the area. What are your recommendations on good "foundation" books? To be more specific, introductions to economy, capitalism, investing, stocks, etc. I'm not really looking for material that delves real deep into any certain subject, but more something that will help me grasp finance as a whole and help me better evaluate my financial investing options. However, I am particularly interested in any material on real estate and liquidation. (as in bulk purchases to resell on eBay)
any help would be appreciated!
thanks,
matt

There are about a gazillion books out there about investing. One that I found particularly good for describing the mechanics of stocks, bonds, etc, was the Wall Street Journal Guide to Understand Investing (or something like that). It's a short read with lots of good information, especially for the invessting neophyte.
Here's a link to the book at Amazon.

Just going to the library and typing "investing" into their search engine will provide a host of books to choose from, too.
