I gave up for about a month a few months ago.
I thought I could do it. I mean the reality hit me of how it is only a matter of time before I get some kind of disease. All smokers have gum disease apparantly, it isn't something you can avoid... all you can avoid is getting the worst of it.
It's an adiction, I'm back on the roll ups. So it is very hard. With all these facts I still can't do anything to stop.
The problem is it is a lovely activity. The best I can do at the moment is to try and cut it down to something very minimal. Which I am trying to do.
I hope to get myself a recumbent cycle at some stage and take up touring regularly... this'll help.
Apart from that mate, I have nothing else to say at this time.
Not all countries can afford... a lavish monarchy.

Other then an occasional cigar, I never really have smoked. I have friends that have. Many quit and some have tried and not been able to. We also recently added a quit smoking calculator to our website as an encouragement to help people quit smoking.
It is in my signature link. I wish you the best of luck!

I never smoked so I can't get addicted to it Glad to hear you stopped. The bad thing about quitting smoking is that you gain a lot of weight from it.

There is this tool called a smokestick which is an electric cig with catridges, you can even use it on a plane. No cancer since you are not burning anything, just vapor. I don't have link, but they can be bought online or through some b&m locations. They are not sold in some countries and I think they are outlawed in Belgium. It should be a medical device, imo.
I did this and actually quit for over a month and even got off the tool as I scaled back the cartridge potency. However, I thought my girl was pregnant and spazzed, so I am back to smoking again. Also, I didn't realize how crappy life is (and how bad this world smells) until I quit. That did affect my relapse.
I have heard go to tokyo, there are not many legal opportunities to smoke. That should do it.
Saving for Tokyo!

I didn't know there were consequences on trying to quit smoking, I never had that addiction but I encourage anyone that wants to do so to just speak to your doctor and see what is the best way so that cutting off won't seem so abrupt to your body.

I stopped two years ago. Just drink lots of orange juice the first two weeks, it'll help you clean your body. But it's all about willpower. Good luck!
