Coll tips, I would add another:
Consider buying a house with a tenants space separated. That way you'll get to rent our a part of your house and make an additional income to cover a part or your whole mortgage rate, and not to disturb your family life at all.
I hope you'll find this useful as well...

That’s a really great idea. I think you should hire a real estate agent. Although He will charge a bit amount for his services, but will help you to buy a house of your choice.

When I bought my condo last year one of the important features I looked for was the stairs. While I can easily walk stairs now, I may not be able to later. Many of the condos had about 20 steps to walk up just to get the first level. I certainly don't want to walk a flight of stairs with bags of groceries. It would be terrible to try to get a new appliance or a couch up there. Garbage day would be terrible too. The other stair issue was the laundry room in basement. Once again, I'm sure a time will come when I don't want to bring baskets of laundry up 20 steps. A first floor laundry was a must. I was thinking long term.

Did you know that termite damage occurs in approximately 600000 homes throughout the US each year?

I had gone through the posts. The tips which are provided about the first time home buyers is really useful for many of them. If we have any interest to contact the real estate agent, Choose the professional and well-known agents for getting good results with in few days.
