This can involve investment advice, which may include pension planning, and/or advice on life insurance and other insurances such as income protection insurance, critical illness insurance etc.,

since this post is on financial advisors....how is business? meaning with the economy being so crappy are people still buying insurance and investments?
keep hearing people cant afford there homes and there needs basically i dont see them buying financial stuff but i could be wrong...

a financial advisor is a person who advises on different financial matters to help you acheive ur financial goal. Lot of financial advisors even mess up at times. Please go by ur logic not by what the financial advisor says. But they are specialized on tyhis so u can listen to them carefully.
