4 days in a row in college, during finals. Needless to say, I didn't do too good on my last test, lol.

In grad school I often would pull four or five nights in a row on a couple of hours of sleep. The longest I have ever gone with no sleep at all, I mean not even shutting your eyes for five minutes is about 30-35 hours.

I don't know how some people do it. After a few days with 5 or less hours of sleep I can literally fall asleep anywhere. When I studied abroad we traveled to Italy for a weekend. I only had four days there and so we were partying into the morning and then playing tourist all day. I fell asleep in St. Peter's Basilica.

actually sleeping duration depend on your life style and daily working. some time 20 to 40 mints enough for your body and some time resting duration is very long. otherwise 4 to 6 hours is ideal a healthy person.

Nursing mothers are the ones who are deprived most of sleep. But though that is the case, you'll still get more sleep as months passes. The sleeping patterns of your baby would change and you would wake up less in the middle of the night. This is just one sacrifice that a mom has to do.

As for not getting enough sleep, it is important for everyone to at least have 6 hrs of sleep (adults) to maintain a healthy life.

With zero sleep the most I have gone is about 36 hours. Maybe I have an easy life. Multiple days with only 3 or so hours? That i have done a few times. I dig sleep but try to limit myself to 7 hours per night. My body would happily sleep longer, but if I do I regret it later as it seems to make me feel tired the whole day as if i never woke up.

I spent most of my time without sleep in college, before the final exams. I did not sleep for 36 hours. But this is a bad practice. Because the more you do not get enough sleep, the more you worsen your cognitive abilities. My husband suffers from chronic depression, he sleeps a little, he has problems with attention and memory. He takes pills for insomnia, but they don't help much. I found on the Internet information about nootropics, more you can read here https://nootropicboost.com/ . It seems to me that these pills should help with the consequences of insomnia. Back in college, my doctor prescribed me these pills, now they can be bought without a prescription. When we had a baby, he was quite calm and we slept more or less normally. But still it was a great stress for us.

I also couldn't sleep much in college. Once I had to pass my exam, so I didn't sleep for 38 hours.

It is better not to do so. Sleep should be normal.
