Yes but the same can be said about pretty much every antivirus program. They all have real-time scanners that protect against viruses, trojans, phishing and other malware while surfing the internet. What makes Norton better than the rest? What can they offer that the others cannot?

I have been using Kaspersky from past 2 years.. It is working fine. I didnt try the other anti virus softwares and i suggest this is a good product for windows 7.

I am using Kaspersky antivirus for my laptop having windows 7 OS. It is working fine.

If your careful, you won't need an antivirus program. Nevertheless, if I had to choose, I'd just go with the Microsoft's free MSE (Microsoft Security Essentials). All of these programs, slow down your machine to a degree, some more than others.

AVG anti virus free edition is best for windows 7. It suits best and very fast with good automatic thread detect and remove features.
