For Windows 7 64-bit, I use only one antivirus package - Microsoft Security Essentials. I also use Malwarebytes and a couple of other security packages, but that's the only antivirus tool I'm running.

We use Endpoint here at the University and it works quite well.

Panda antivirus is best for window 7. The good thing about this antivirus is that it's does not effect the computer and internet speed.

Norton antivirus for Windows 7 has been helping people, like you, prevent and remove awful viruses. Not only does Norton antivirus for Windows 7 remove viruses but it also gets rid of the following: Trojans - pesky bugs that attach themselves to your PC and cause problems slowly.

I've been running ESET NOD32 Antivirus for a few years and love it. It's runs light but protects heavy. It's easy to use and they offer free tech support (including malware removal services) to their customers.

That said, check out various third-party AV testing sites like AV-Comparitives, Virus Bulletin and AV-Test.org. If MSE isn't working for you, there are a few really good choices out there. It's a matter of trying a few and seeing which works best for you.
