Don't ever use robotic software in conjunction with Google AdSense.  You'll lose your AdSense account.
The trick with AdSense I think is traffic. If you can create blogs and sites and get high quality traffic to them, you can make money with AdSense.

it is very much easy to make money with google adsense as per your explanation. But not that much easy. You have to post good contents and these contents must have good and valuable key words. You should get enough traffic to your website. The website must be attracted by search engines. Only good quality website can attract and hold the visitors and can make good money with google adsense. You have to work hard for it. Unless you will have a webiste with google ads and no money.

I totally agree with payment proof. If you have a blog or website and if you can generate more traffic than you can easily make money with AdSense. But for that you have to follow Google AdSense's rules and regulations. Don't use any dirty trick for getting money fast, which is against AdSense policies. Otherwise your account would be banned.

If for example I get a thousand hits per month to a site of mine, how much might I expect to earn from people who might happen to click the Google ad? If 1 out of 100 clicks the ad, that's 5 per month. So what would I earn? A few pennies?

Content is really important only then you can make money. It is necessary that what you have written captures the interest of the readers and you get good traffic on your site. With the help of good content and Google you can definitely make good money.

Absolutely. Do anything that violates the AdSense TOS, such as traffic exchanges, and your AdSense account will be banned super fast and forever.

According to me, Google is a great way to earn more money and to monetize your traffic, and it's very easy to implement. It is one of biggest earners in today. It is also deal more than the amount on that check.

I agree with payment proof. The only trick is to get maximum traffic to your blog or website. One more thing is to whenever you use any theme for your blog be sure that their is no any junk code in themes, otherwise it may happen that google ban your blog for adsense.
