Depends a lot on the business and the country. In Latin America, for instance, people are very socially minded so get out on the streets with brochures, door-to-door and have a presence where people can come and see and talk about what you are all about. Television commercials and billboards are popular too

First you have to select the target audience in the foreign country and then advertise through various mediums. If you choose the wrong target market then a successful product can go to waste.

If you want target overseas business, then SEO plays a big part in online business. If you can drive traffic to your websites and convert prospect costumers to buy your products, it will be huge leap in your business career.
