There are many policies dear. You first need to give your detail like what is your income and from which bank you want to take loan? what interest rate you are looking for?

Generally, a standard homeowners insurance policy protects the following:

1. The physical structure of your home
2. Structures on your property (storage sheds, pools, boathouses, etc.)
3. Your personal property and belongings inside your home, up to specified limits
4. Your liability or legal responsibility for any injuries and property damage you or your family members cause to other people.

Many to few, cheap to expensive. It depends on what part of the country you live. Speaking of which I see you live in Texas.

I suggest visiting this website and reading up.

The price of home insurance is perfect for many the actual deciding element on whether or not they obtain an insurance policy or not really. Home insurance is usually insisted on by home loan providers, as your house is also their own investment.

It requires that at least one of the named insureds occupies the home. The dwelling policy (DP) is similar, but used for residences which don't qualify for various reasons, such as vacancy/non-occupancy, seasonal/secondary residence, or age

The fact remains that home loan providers must insist by concerned home loan providers. The residence also proves to be a true investment.

Home insurance is designed to cover possession damage, structural damage, relocation costs and liability costs in case a home becomes unlivable. The homeowners' insurance coverage for older homes is not any different though the cost of rebuilding and structural repair might be different.

Home insurance is to provide safe guard from from tragic events or natural disasters. So insurance is a necessary part which will help you to stand again. You need to contact a local, INDEPENDENT agent in your area, to show you quotes from as many companies as they can find, in your local area.
