Business Property Flood Damage |

Hi Guys,
I'm having difficulty attemptimg to claim what I believe I'm owed by my insurance company/loss adjuster as a result of my business suffering from flood damage last year. I've been told that harris balcomb are good by a friend but I don't know if I'm supposed to go directly to them or go through my insurance company?
Please let me know if anyone has any thoughts on this, or has suffered any damage in the past as I'm worried I might end up losing out if I don't take the proper route.
Thanks,
Ben

Ben-hart,
Floods are nasty.
And this flood insurance you are discussing?
You should first file a claim with your insurance company. You should have contacted the insurer last year, before any demolition or repairs were started.
Your insurance company should have already seen the damage on your property, and have some estimate to make the necessary repairs.
When fighting with the insurance company becomes too long or too much of a hassle, then contact your legal team.
