401K and Target Date Funds  Reply with quote

Hi folks,

I have a 401K with Fidelity. I have the Fidelity Freedom Index 2040 Fund (FBIFX). It doesn't seem like it has the best ratings. I was wondering if anyone had ideas on what other target funds to look into? I'm not sure if this can be changed?

Thanks.

It depends on what funds are offered by your particular 401k plan. The relevant information is available on the website. If you have a brokerage window option available, you should be able to invest in just about any other target date fund out there.
