Hello danielnash,
Where is your website hosted? Have you checked your ping analysis? If it's Wordpres ... Do you use any Cache plugin?
The more information you give it will be better.

If you have a lot of images, removing some may help to speed up load time.

Browser Caching usually helps big time. Make sure you have a good host too.

Great thread! There is much useful information here! I've been building a website, but I don't have much experience. Recently I've been lucky to get a big pack of stock photos on and I want to add some of them to my site, but I know that if I add too many images, it can affect load time. Having read your posts, I've found out that there are other things I should take into account to prevent this problem. Thanks for sharing your experience, guys!

How do you make your websites, guys? I am going to make one with the help of Woocommerce themes from https://www.templatemonster.com/woocommerce-themes.php and I would like it to be as fast as possible. Can you recommend me something?
