Short term or Long term?  Reply with quote

I am planning to invest in the Forex market this coming this year, but I want to know whether I will do it in short term or long term.

As I have read in Short term is giving focus that security's price will decline and then bought back at a lower price to make a profit. While long term is about buying a commodity expecting that in the long term it will rise.

But I want to ask for those who are experienced, which is better?

in my case, i already have long term investment plans for retirement. but i also invest short term

if you look at popular investment websites and journals, long-term investments seem to get all the attention. But it doesn’t have to be that way because [ can also have the desired impact. however, short term have this downside of Low risk Low return....

Contributing is not for here and now. Contributing is for long haul. In the event that you attempt to make a decent return in the transient you'll as a rule end up losing cash. In the event that you need to stop your cash for 5-8 months then you can do a short CD or only a plain ol' currency advertise account.

I don’t exactly know your history and experience, but by looks, I feel you have very little knowledge and zero experience about trading. If what I said is true then short term will be a suicide while long term is something that gives you chance. In short, it’s your skills that need to be there not short or long term. However, long term just gives you extra chance while short term is suicide and more on gambling lines where you can gain just in case of LUCKY.

It really depends on your risk tolerance. I would definitely invest for the long-term to start with and if there are funds to play with, then you might want to take some short-term risks. I advise you to read "Modern Portfolio Theory and Investment Analysis. You can get the book on Amazon.
