Is AMP necessary? |
|
|
I know Accelerated Mobile Pages provide website to load fast in mobile devices, even over slow networks, but I want to know is that necessary? If I do not use AMP then my website can’t rank high?

It still can. But AMP sites have a higher chance of getting to the top since Google prioritizes user experience. Of course, if you have poor content, even having AMP won't help you. On the other hand, if you have good content, you still have a chance.
But the real question is... why not use AMP?

If you choose AMP then even in slow networks your website will load fast in mobiles so their may be a chance user can't exit from your website it will not increase your website bounce rate.
But if you cant implement AMP its difficult to load your website in mobiles on slow network connection so user can exist from your website easily which leads to increase in website bounce rate.
