My name is Chris "Red" Bittner and I'm glad I found this site! I'm 26 and I've been in the money game for about 4 years now. I started listening to Dave Ramsey in 2013 and decided that I was gonna get rid of all my debt and do a little better with my finances. I told my wife that I wasn't getting marred until all the debt was gone. I paid off about $22,000 dollars worth of debt in about 40 months and found a passion for finance and advising along the way.
I decided that what happened to me was a blessing, and even though the the financial world is fairly saturated with blogs and people that want to help, I started a blog to try and reach more people. I've gotten my wife on board with staying frugal and I always try to help my friends if they want the help. I'm breaking into the finance world and I plan on publishing great content with hopes of advising and consulting full time.
Right now I'm actually working a great job as a Probation/Parole Law Enforcement Officer in North Carolina, which is another passion that I have. I enjoy serving the public in any way I can. The Law Enforcement job is great, but finance and online business always pulls away the rest of my free time and will be putting in the time so that one day I can work as a Financial E-visor full time.
