I have tried numerous affiliate schemes over the years. The only one that I've found to be remotely worthwhile has been Google AdSense. Has anyone tried any of the new alternatives to AdSense that have sprung up... things like AdSonar?

I agree that Google Adsense is very good but in certain cercumstances using targedt Ads from Commission Junction or LinkShare more profitable if done correctly.

In the begining I thought posting ads all over my site would make my site lots of money boy was I wrong. I learned by placing Commission Junction and LinkShare Ads matching good content was a better approach. (lessons you learn over time).

Don't count out other programs if they are not Google. They can work too!

I've tried CJ and I do earn money through them, and I've tried to use CJ in a targeted sense. (If people search our business site for hosting, they get a CJ banner pertaining to hosting... that sort of thing.) However, I still find AdSense to be head and shoulders above the rest.

I use clickxchange.com and google adsense. Clickxchange.com requires more hits to your site and not as targeted as adsense. However, if you market clickxchange.com links better it could be very profitable.

I like google adsense the best as there "buying" or "selling" power however you want to look at it is so good that people pay more.....

I have never gotten paid a couple bucks for one click through any of the ones mentioned above but i ahve through adsense.

Adsense sucks  Reply with quote

Greetings,

Adsense use to be an effective tool when first introduced, but now they are so full of scams and get rich quick that few will even respond to them any longer. Ask yourself, when was the last time you clicked on an adsense link? In my experience, ad-make-no-sence is a better name for this junk.

Good luck, Mike

Adsense still is an effective tool I find my self clicking on an ad when I am searching for something in partular. Place propperly Adsense still has an effect. As my traffic increases so does the amount that I earn. Providing good content and ads placed in good positions is the key IMO.

I started the [url removed, see forum rules] program 3 months ago and have had pretty good suscess. First month I mad 300.0, second 650.00 and now around 1100.00 so far. Not to bad for just starting. Its pretty easy to do and dosnt take much time just sending out some emails.

Mike... I'm guessing you're referring to AdWords, not AdSense... just a hunch. For many people, AdSense make a LOT of sense... myself included.

I've had the best of luck with this one... I will tell you after like 4 months I still hvent reached the million mark like they say but I do get good monthly income from it. Try it. This is my affiliate link [url removed, see forum rules] It never hurt anyone to try it. I'm not trying to spam just trying to reach ppl.
