| Questions about closing a credit card. |

Hi, I recently applied for a VISA Gold Card and have since decided that I do not want it. Would the best advice be to close the account as soon as I get the card? Will there be any fees charged to my card if it is not activated and immediately closed? Will closing the account hurt my credit rating? Thanks for the advice.

Yes. Average age of your accounts is a big factor and the one-day wonder will certainly hinder that. What is so bad about the card?
