How do you really know?  Reply with quote

Ok, one thing that I want to know, i'm kinda new to earning online!

There are just so many online opportunities, How many of them are really as good as they say they are? They seem so promising but most of them just fail and take more then they give, so my question is How do you really know if its a good opportunity and how much should you put into advertising?

The best way to handle it is to do a bit of research on a program before you join it. If the program has a forums visit it and see what the members are saying about it, are there lots of complaints or lots of people asking the admin 'where is my money' etc. Also check nutral sites for program praises and complaints to hear what other users think of a program. I have a forums dedicated to these programs where members post what they like and don't like and it can be a decent resource for people wanting to know what sites work or not. I also have a list of scam sites you can look over to make sure you stay away from them.

Good Luck

Yea i've played around with a bit of advertising, that buying targeted traffic to your site doesnt work its a rip off! But I got a few nibbles addvertising with stormpay, but now their prices have gone through the roof, do you think banners are a good way to advertise?

No. Due to how they are not just a part of everyday internet life alot of people ignore them (I speak for myself and whole heap of my friends).... and you forget that on some sites that people can pay that site a fee so they can ignore/not see the banners.. so there is 'traffic' you will be missing out on due to this option.

Opt in lists are the best way to go... as for getting people to your site... "search engine optimisation" (sp?) would be another effective way to get traffic to your site... people have to be able to find your site so they can 'opt in' to your list.

In the end, you need to really target your market... do you know WHO you are trying to attract to your website? Do you truely know your market ?

Once you know your market, you can visit appropriate websites and swap links or someone get some advertising on them .... or even have ads placed within e-newsletters/magazines that your target market reads.
