No Credit and Confused. . . HELLLPPPPP!! |
|
|
Hello,
I am hoping that someone can give me decent advice . . .
Lets start off by saying that I have NO credit.
I NEED a personal loan. I need the loan to buy some stuff for my baby that is on the way and to pay some back bills that have added up.
I have no credit, good or bad so natrually, I cannot get a loan without a cosigner.
That is where the problem is. Most of the people I know do not have good enough credit to cosign and the few I know with good credit are planning huge events (i.e. buying houses, paying for college) that require credit, so natrually, (and i do not blame them) they will not cosign out of weariness.
Here is my question:
I am going to need this loan for approximately $10,000 and I need it quick. I already went to the big banks and they will not do it. Does anyone know of anywhere that will give me a personal loan for such an amount without a cosigner? If not, (and this may be a dumb question) are there such things as professional orginizations that specialize in cosigning/backing people with no credit?
I appreciate any responses anyone can give me . . .
Thanks,
Eireann

Hi Eireann,
This is a difficult one. Unfortunately many find themselves in this position, suddenly needing a loan, but with no credit history. It's not a great answer, and it may not even work, but have you tried applying for a credit card? Credit card "loans" are expensive, but not as expensive as a Payday loan. Even if you can't get credit at this moment, you probably will want to try to build a credit history, so that you'll have a better chance at getting some credit maybe half a year from now. For this, you could try something like the Eurfora credit card, which is really a prepaid debit card, but they will submit your timely payments to the 3 credit bureaus to start establishing your credit history for the (hopefully) near-term future.
