My article website earns only $20 per month. Please give me idea for increasing my earnings to $1000 per month.
Some of websites earn $1000 per day.

That's easy... make 50 more such sites. I'm NOT kidding you.
Let me explain...
The most important step in making money online is to actually
figure out HOW to make ANY amount of money consistently.
Then you just multiply it -- do more of what works!
To actually increase your Adsense earnings on one site in
particular, I really recommend Joel Comm's ebook. In your
case it can improve your earnings to $60 a month,
but that means you only have to make 17 more sites to reach
$1000/month.
The sites making $1000 a day are very rare although they do
exist. What people usually misunderstand when they see
someone's Adsense earnings is that those people actually
have 1000's of sites making them $0.5-$1 a day. Some have
50 sites making them $20 a day...

1) Have a terrific site with great content and interactivity that people love to come to and will recommend to their friends.
or
2) Make lots of websites.
Other than that, I can't think of anything that wouldn't violate Google's TOS (like encouraging people to click your links -- a definite no-no).

Oh yeah,
do NOT even think of programs such as click exchange --
you pay a membership and then surf on other members'
web sites and click on their ads and they do the same.
This is the most surefire way to get banned from Google
Adsense. And when you've been banned there's no way
back! Even if in two days from then someone comes
out with a real Adsense success formula that works like
crazy you won't be able to implement it as you won't have
Adsense any more...
Just remember -- there's no reliable "easy way", but there
are many ways that work. You just have to pick one and
stick to it until you start getting paid 
So, what is important with Adsense (when looking to get
more money -- or even any money...):
- traffic to your web site
- CTR (click through rate)
- CPC (cost per click -- how much an advertiser pays for
a click where you get a percentage, usually about 50%).
Those three things are basically it.

as I don't have time to constantly post on forums

build yourself an empire. I'll make it as step-by-step as
possible.

Many small sites with specific interest, niche stuff, that has in depth information about a limited subject on each site.
Avoid trying to make a site that will appeal to everyone, go for a small specialty interest type thing.
Lots and lots of quality content...one might take off big.

I believe you can take courses for it.
A friend of mine is earning almost 10K per money by using Google AD, but he invested 10K just to learn it. He said if you know what you are doing you can easily lose money with it. I strongly suggest you to learn it first.

Adsense, in my opinion, is the best way to go. There are no short cuts, though, and traffic is king.
