Have you ever had a job before or would this be your first one?

The best job you can get right now is education. The better an education you have, the better the jobs that are open to you.

I am going to disagree somewhat with this statement.

Most successful people bust their ass to get what they want.

They set a goal, and bust their ass to reach it.

They do not start out working their ass off for nothing.

Many people work their asses off but are unsuccessful. It's important to work smart, and then work hard. Hard work on its own won't get you anywhere.

Make a website about something you know that people will want to see or learn about. Get traffic and put ads up. This can make you some money.

My advice?

Figure out what you want in life, and then set a goal.

Then examine that goal and see what it will take to reach it, breaking it down into smaller goals.

Mow lawns at $20-$25 a pop. Your "sitting on the computer ass" probably needs the exercise and tan. And where you going to make $20-$25 an hour doing this somewhere at your age (not to mention tax free).

Besides that, if you wanna work from home you need to sell on ebay or something (but that still requires a lot of busy work like going out to get packing materials and shipping goods). I know one lady who bought wine glasses at $20 for a box of 12 and put candle gel wax inside of them so it would look like sparkling wine. She added a wick in the candle wax and sold the entire set of 12 on ebay for $80 for the box of 12 (weddings garbled these items up quick). Heck you don't even have to get an idea of your own, look around ebay and see what people are selling that you can make or resell.

Probably it would be good for you to do some real work and learn what a lot of people have to do to exist. A good part-time job that pays real money and might leave you time to compute is substitute rural carrier for the post office. They are needed almost everywhere and the pay is a lot better than Mcdonalds. you might need a vehicle. This is a practical idea, not a pipe dream.
