Is making money online really THAT difficult?  Reply with quote

Many people find it extremely difficult to make money online, so
I've decided to give my thoughts on that subject...

In my opinion making money online is very easy. However, making
a lot of money online and consistently so is a completely different
thing.

Like in any business, there are certain laws in making money online
too. The difference is that the potential on the Internet is so much
greater than in almost anything else.

Internet is "one place" that unites people from all over the world. So
just by going online, your potential buying power goes from maybe
some hundred thousand people (depends on many factors though)
to several HUNDRED MILLIONS.

But of course you have to know how to harness such a potential. If you
succeed to harness just a fraction, you can easily become very rich.

The sad part is that people usually don't treat making money online
as a business but more like a means of quickly getting a few bucks.
This is where it all becomes very difficult.

Here I'll just briefly mention a few things a business or individual should
focus on to build a very successful Internet business:

    *Capturing leads
    *Building credibility and relationships
    *Branding
    *Up-selling

If you can succeed in just doing that you'll be on a way to Internet riches.

Of course it takes time and effort AND money to do all that and this is
probably where people usually fail. They aren't willing to invest in their
online business, thinking that because it's online, there are completely
different rules. There are many differences from a non-online business,
but not in the core ways a business should be run.

In my opinion, the biggest problem with people starting out to make
money online isn't lack of ideas or knowledge, but procrastination.
Knowledge is very easily obtainable and it comes in many forms online:

Ebooks, forums, blogs, other web sites...

Just in some threads in this forum is enough information to start a very
successful Internet business. But I think that procrastination and a
seducing influence of ideas of "easy money" keeps people from real
success online.

If you have a problem with procrastination, I created a free audio session
to help you overcome it at will. It's worth to listen to it.

This is a post on my blog where you can find the audio (it takes a bit to
load -- look for orange "play" "pause" "stop" buttons, they will appear
after a few seconds).

>> Internet marketing without procrastination

Hope this post and the audio help you to Internet success!

Take care.

You are 100% correct. And this is why so many people fail. They think it's easy. They look at some of the 'gurus' who tell you how they just sit back and watch the cash roll in.

Can that happen? Yes, it certainly can. But to get to that point you first have to put in a lot of work.

If it didn't take work, everyone would be filthy rich.

Exactly!

Persistence is key. Sure there are better and worse ways,
but if you're not in a position to get to those "techniques"
(you don't have enough money or you just simply aren't
"important" enough to be told about them), you have to
just go ahead and do what you think is right.

And there are some universal pointers:

* Be somewhat unique
* Give value first -- before asking for something inn return
(by the way, many times you won't even have to!)
* Be persistent
* Watch what others more successful do and mimic them
* Be willing to SPED SOME MONEY -- this one is so hard to
get for some people. Do you honestly think that the top
"Gurus" made it up there on a tight budget? Please! They
invested
, several thousand dollars many times to get
such outstanding results.

There's no such thing as getting rich quick from and with
scratch!

Have a great day!

It all comes down to one thing:

You Must Learn Before You Earn

Too many think they can wade right in with absolutely NOTHING to offer and come out rich!

The Internet is all about information and if you don't have any, you are a spender, not a seller. So go learn something new today!

One of the top dogs in Amway would disagree.

She once introduced a rep as to "stupid to fail" this guy hung in there until he found his dowline.

Another couple decided to use Amway for tax write off purposes and ended up with quite the international downline!!!!

There are some Watkins and Mela reps who love the products but don't even seem to know what a downline is.

Knowlege may be power; but, sometimes ignorance is bliss.

I had a new downline member sign up 27 people in one week and she didn't know the busisness. She just was people friendly. Me the research and find the best company and plug it only recruited 11 people directly into that opportunity.

Yes, I agree that persistence is the key to be success in online business. Normally what I always do before starting an online business is setting a goal. A goal on how much money I will make from the site and how many time I will spend on it. The rate between money i make and time that i spend will be a good research on my new online business. I will only give up if I really hit my goal in a longer time that I expected.

Surely you can spot that as one more reason most people run when they hear the word Amway!

For every one of those Go-Get-Em stories, you will hear the 95% fail 1,000 times, and that's why. They just want your 'Dues' one more month. Come on down to the monthly meeting and your logic will go away after we hype you up for another charge.

That's only because you haven't found out what works my friend.

Skepticism keeps many people from ever finding it.
